From Paper to 3D Model
An intro to 3D modeling for complete beginners. Start with a sketch, then build it digitally using beginner-friendly CAD software. By the end, participants will have a file ready to send to the 3D printer.

Solder, Print & Play — Build Your Own Snake Game
Wire it. Print it. Play it. An intro to basic electronics where participants use 3D printed parts and electronic components to build a working snake game from scratch. No prior experience needed, just show up ready to make something.
Makersday — KEC Makerspace Grand Opening
The KEC Makerspace officially opened its doors. Over 200 people joined us for the main program and full open house — a historic day for the KEC maker community.

3-Day Robotics & Electronics Bootcamp
KEC Makerspace, in collaboration with Technova Software and IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd., organized a 3-day Robotics & Electronics Bootcamp for +2 students interested in electronics and robotics. The bootcamp was beginner-friendly, hands-on, and included certification.
Bored After Boards Episode 3 — Free 3D Printing Workshop
As part of the Bored After Boards series, KEC Makerspace organized a free 3D Printing Workshop for Grade 12 graduates. Participants learned the basics of 3D printing, explored makerspace tools, and printed their own model to take home.
Bored After Boards Episode 2 — Free Laser Cutting Workshop
KEC Makerspace organized a free Laser Cutting Workshop for students waiting for their Grade 12 results. Participants learned how the laser cutting machine works, designed their own cut or engraved piece, and explored the Makerspace.
Bored After Boards Episode 1 — Free 3D Printing Workshop
KEC Makerspace hosted a free 3D Printing Workshop where students learned the basics of 3D printing, explored real makerspace tools, and printed their own model.

Structured hands-on STEM experiences for school groups from Kathmandu and surrounding areas. Each program ends with students taking home something they made.
Introduction to Making

- Build a working LED breadboard circuit
- Learn: voltage, current, components

- Design a 3D object using guided CAD templates
- Submit for printing and receive the print
